On 17 of October Festivals Malta closed the submissions for the fourth edition of Mużika Mużika which will take place between the 14th and 16th of March 2024. The festival received a very positive response as shown by the substantial number of high calibre songs submitted.

Once the submission period ended, the Mużika Mużika team immediately started the process for the first eliminatory phase. In this phase, six members of the jury judged all entries in the presence of the government notary, from which the best 40 songs were selected. In the next phase, the selected songs will be performed live in front of six different jury members, to finally select the twenty semifinalist songs that will be presented next March.
