Clint Azzopardi has been approved as another candidate for the Labour Party for the upcoming European Parliament election.

The economist submitted his nomination last week, with a Labour Party statement on Wednesday saying that it had been approbed.

Azzopardi Flores, 42, was brought up in Cospicua and graduated in economics in 2011. He spent some time working in the European Parliament in 2013, and a year later was employed by the government as a budget and economy attaché in Malta’s permanent representation office in Brussels.

He returned to Malta in 2021 and works for a private bank.

He is married to Ray Azzopardi and they live in Tarxien.
