A biker was injured on Thursday morning following a collision with a car in Birkirkara, the police said.

The accident took place in Artigjanat Street at 8am.

It involved a Kymco X-town and a Volkswagen Scirocco, driven by a 31-year-old man of Zebbuga.

The biker, a man aged 35 of Gzira, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
