A worker was injured when a van overturned on Monday morning, the police said.
The accident took place at the St Joseph Convent in Hompesch Road, Zabbar, just after 10am.
The man, aged 45 of Sliema, was unloading some artificial turf carpets from the van when the vehicle overturned, and hit him.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Victor Axiaq is leading an inquiry.
