An Indian man was seriously injured on Saturday morning when he fell a height of two metres in a private residence, the police said.
The accident took place in Salvatore Cachia Zammit Street in Birzebbuga at 11.30am.
The man, aged 49, was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
Magistrate Noel Bartolo is leading an inquiry.
