NGO Repubblika said Wednesday it expected the government to take action after the public inquiry into the death of Jean Paul Sofia found serious shortcomings.
Once again the State has been found responsible for the death of a person, after a similar conclusion had been reached following the assassination of Daphne Catruana Galizia in 2017.
Repubblika said the Prime Minister has the moral obligation to see that whoever is responsible pays the price.
The State is not an empty vessel. It is made up of people who were given appointments and are being paid handsomely for their work. The State is people with a name and a surname and the PM is responsible for their action or lack of it.
