A biker was grievously injured on Saturday morning following a collision with a car, the police said.

The accident took place in Notabile Road, Birkirkara, at 11am.

The biker, a man aged 47 of Attard, was riding a Honda which was involved in a crash with an Audi driven by an 18-year-old man of Siggiewi.

The biker was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
