The government cannot make the same mistakes it did with Air Malta when the airline that will replace it is launched on Sunday, the Nationalist Party said.

Air Malta will cease operations today after being declared bankrupt and will be substituted by KM Malta Airlines as from tomorrow.

On this black day, the PN thanked all the workers who were employed with Air Malta for 50 years, saying that the company contributed greatly to the tourism sector.

The statement was signed by tourism spokesman Mario de Marco.
