The Electoral Commission has notified that it will receive applications from eligible persons to serve as assistant electoral commissioners and counting staff in the forthcoming European Parliament and Local Councils' elections due on Saturday, 8th June, 2024.
Applications will be received online (electoral.gov.mt/applynow) as from today Monday, 1st April 2024 from 8.00am till Monday, 15th April 2024 at 7.00pm.
Alternatively, applicants may submit their application by visiting the Electoral Office, Counting Hall Complex (Ex-Trade Fair Grounds), Naxxar or the ID Cards Office, 28A, St. Francis Square, Victoria, Gozo, as from today Monday, 1st April 2024 till Monday, 15th April 2024 from 8.00am to 1.00pm and from 3.00pm till 7.00pm between Monday and Friday and on Saturdays from 8.00am to 1.00pm. Applicants who call personally must bring their Identity Card.
Given that access to the Electoral Office premises in Naxxar is currently restricted due to infrastructural works in the vicinity, it is recommended that one reaches the Electoral Office through Triq Giuseppe Scicluna, on the left side of the Naxxar Parish Church, and proceeding on the left side upon reaching Pjazza Ċelsi.
