A biker was grievously injured on Wednesday afternoon following a collision with a car, the police said.

The accident happened in Burma Street, Pembroke, at 5pm.

The biker, a 30-year-old man from Mgarr, was riding a Honda Hornet which was involved in a crash with a Fiat 500 driven by a 20-year-old woman of Gharghur.

Both were taken to hospital for treatment, with the biker suffering grievous injuries while the woman was slightly hurt.
