The Koperattiva Maltija tal-Mogħoż u n-Nagħaġ (KMMN) was officially launched during the opening of the Malta AgriFair 2024 by the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights Anton Refalo.

This Co-operative was established on the 29th of January 2024 with the aim of representing and safeguarding the best interest of Maltese and Gozitan goat and sheep breeders within this sector.

“As proud founders and custodians of our country’s first, we have delved in with great determination to organise this farming community, represent the interests of our breeders, overcome the current monumental challenges being faced, as well as promote and support the future of this farming industry. The well-being of goats and sheep epitomises our fundamental core principle, thus we will be continually circulating knowledge upon goat and sheep husbandry in addition to providing expert, efficient and viable services, training and assistance to KMMN’s members and interested breeders,” reiterated Darryl Grech, President KMMN.
