Prime Minister Robert Abela said Friday that the priorities of the EU in the next few years should be in the social sector, peace, energy, transport and health.
He was speaking at the end of a meeting which saw six heads of government in the EU hold discussions on a more effective implementation of the EU’s priorities.
The meeting was hosted by President of the European council Charles Michel and included the participation of the prime ministers of Cyprus, Denmark, Latvia, Slovenia and Slovakia.
The meeting was held to discuss the strategic agenda for the next five years.
Other similar meetings were previously held in Berlin, Copenhagen, Zagreb and Paris
