Abela says more Palestinian children to be brought to Malta for treatment

Prime Minister Robert Abela said that more Palestinian children will be brought over to Malta in the coming days for treatment.

these children were injured during the war which is taking place in the Middle East.

Speaking in Brussels, where he is attending the European Council meeting, Abela highlighted Malta’s desire for a ceasefire in Gaza.

He also issued a stern condemnation of Iran’s attack on Israel but wished that there would be no escalation from Israel.

“We need to bring peace back to Gaza,” Abela said. Both sides of the conflict as suffering as a result of what is taking place, he said.

The Prime Minister said that a few days ago he welcomed in Castille Israelis who have relatives held hostage by Hamas. He described this meeting as heartbreaking.
