The Nationalist Party spokesman on justice on Monday alleged that the magisterial inquiry report on the three hospitals deal is being kept in a room under lock and key and constantly guarded.

In a post on Facebook, Karol Aquilina said that Prime Minister Robert Abela is in possession of the report, repeating a claim made by Opposition Leader Bernard Grech on Sunday.

Aquilina said that since the report was passed on to the Attorney General in the last week of April, a number of persons were approached and were given access to the room where a copy of the inquiry is available. These persons were allowed to read parts of the report to be able to prepare themselves for when they are arrested and charged in connection with the findings.

These people are being told that Abela is “doing them a favour” and are being told not to speak to anyone, not even to members of their family, Aquilina said.
