On Friday 24 May at 7.30pm Contessa at The Phoenicia Malta invites guests to embark on a culinary journey marrying the flavours of the Mediterranean with the renowned wines of Spain. This special dinner, in collaboration with M. Demajo (Wines & Spirits) Ltd., promises an evening of gastronomic delight as Spanish wines from Gonzales Byass are expertly paired with a meticulously crafted menu by our talented kitchen brigade.

The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of Spanish wines by the esteemed Mr. Fernando Cardesa Cabrera, offering insights into each wine's heritage and nuances. These wines will complement the flavours of our Mediterranean-inspired dishes, creating a symphony for the senses.

The menu, crafted with passion and finesse, promises to tantalize the taste buds with each course. From delicate Gilthead Bream fritto paired with refreshing Cava Brut and tender Lamb Rump accompanied by the intense flavours of Ribera del Duero Reserva, to Mocha & Caramel Brazo de Gitano perfectly paired with Nectar Pedro Ximenez Sherry.
