Two men were injured as a fight broke out in Mosta on Sunday afternoon, the police said.

The incident took place in Patri Guze Delia Street at 6pm.

The men involved were a 39-year-old from Valletta and a 40-year-old from Tarxien.

The Valletta man was taken to hospital with grievous injuries while the other was treated for injuries at the Mosta health centre.

The police are investigating.
