Monday's parliamentary session was suspended after a short power cut hit the building.
The power cut hit the building during parliamentary question time, leading to Speaker Anglu Farrugia suspending the session.
While the sitting was suspended, MPs with their microphones still on could be heard saying that the power cut will be messing up their speech. One MP could be heard quipping about "the generator."
Power was restored around 15 minutes later.
The Enemalta outage map showed no scheduled or ongoing power cuts in the area, and it remains unclear whether the power cut hit just the building, or other parts in Valletta.
