Nescafé promotes well-being with Spin-For-Life event for LifeCycle Malta

In an inspiring demonstration of community spirit and corporate social responsibility, Nescafé, a proud brand under Nestlé Malta Ltd, has once again taken the lead in supporting the LifeCycle Malta Foundation. This year, one of their key efforts was a spinning event, aptly named 'Spin-For-Life', held at the ChicPhysique studio in Hilltop Gardens, Naxxar.

The event brought together Nestlé Malta staff and their families along with employees from The Concept Stadium, their creative marketing agency, for an afternoon of dynamic indoor cycling, camaraderie, and collective effort. Participants were encouraged to cycle as far as they could, with the combined distance contributing to the ongoing support of the LifeCycle Malta Foundation. The energy and enthusiasm in the room were palpable, as each pedal stroke symbolized a step closer to supporting those in need.

Charlene Ellul, Category Business Manager for Nestlé Malta Ltd, shared her thoughts on the event and the partnership: "Our collaboration with the LifeCycle Malta Foundation is a true reflection of Nescafé's commitment to nurturing well-being and making a tangible difference in our community. The Spin-For-Life event exemplifies how we can combine physical activity with philanthropy, creating a positive impact that resonates beyond the immediate participants."

The Spin-For-Life event is a modest but significant part of Nescafé's broader sponsorship and support for the LifeCycle Malta Foundation. This initiative aims to raise awareness, encourage participation, and generate additional funds for the foundation. The 2024 LifeCycle Challenge, titled "Journey of Good Hope", involves a grueling 2,000km mountain bike ride from Botswana to South Africa. This ten-day challenge, commencing on 25th October and concluding on 8th November, aims to raise both funds and awareness for individuals suffering from end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

The LifeCycle Malta Foundation tirelessly works to support these ESRD patients, providing critical medical treatments, essential equipment, and facilitating life-saving organ transplants. Since its inception in 1999, the foundation has organized challenges in 53 different countries, raising nearly €4 million for the cause.
