There is traffic chaos in the Marsa area after a trailer overturned in Kavalleria Street, Transport Malta said.
In a post on Facebook, the agency said that the road in question was temporarily closed to traffic, leading to traffic congestion in the whole area.
The accident took place at 4.45am.
Transport Malta urged drivers to use alternative routes.
The road has now been reopened.
