The final preparations are well underway for Missio Malta to once again participate in this year's edition of the Malta Food Festival from 9 to 11 August.

"This year, Missio Malta will be offering a complete experience for the public attending the festival, highlighting the beautiful countries where Missio operates as well as its work," said Robert Farrugia, Head of Communication and Fundraising from Missio Malta. "While we have retained the VR experience 'Walk in My Shoes', which allows the public to personally experience the mission through virtual reality, we have created several other initiatives that provide a complete experience."

In fact, during the Malta Food Festival, Missio Malta will for the first time be setting up the International Cultural Arena, where a discussion will shed light on the countries and the work Missio Malta carries out with communities in need. Led by Russell Sammut, the discussion will cover various subjects such as diversity, cultural exchange, the beauty of these countries, and most importantly, the beneficial projects that Missio Malta operates.

There will also be a dedicated corner for children with information, games, and attractions related to Missio's work.

Missio Malta will also present a spectacle featuring top local talent and established artists, from 9pm to midnight on Friday 9 August and Saturday 10 August. On Sunday, 11 August, the show will start at 6pm and continue until midnight. The programme will be hosted by Robert Farrugia and Angie Laus.

"Missio's participation in the Malta Food Festival is another occasion to be close to the public at different events. Missio's goal remains to deliver its message in favour of the generosity of the Maltese so that it can continue to work for the benefit of communities in need," concluded Robert Farrugia.

Members of the public are encouraged to make their donations even from home while watching the show, which will be broadcast on all local television stations. The Malta Food Festival will be held at the Floriana Granaries from 7 to 11 August.
