There have been 1,495 reported and confirmed COVID cases in Malta from the beginning of January to the end of September, Health Minister Jo Etienne Abela said on Tuesday as he replied to a parliamentary question posed by Nationalist Party MP David Agius.
Agius asked Abela to detail, month-by-month, how many COVID cases have been reported and confirmed this year.
Abela replied that there were 308 cases in January, 70 in February, 11 in March, 17 in April, 77 in May, 348 in June, 359 in July, 233 in August, and 72 in September.
