From 6 to 10 November, the French Embassy is once again taking part in the Malta Book Festival, alongside the Alliance française Malte-Méditerranée and Lireka, an online bookstore that offer French books with free delivery worlwide.
At the French Corner, you will find books from the new French literary season as well as second-hand books at free prices (donations).
In addition, this year French Embassy is inviting painter and illustrator Sophie Guinzbourg and children's author Chloe Gallien to Malta for two free drawing and writing workshops.
For adults, a workshop to draw a typical French café scene on Saturday 9 November from 9.30 to 10.45am. For children, one to draw a rabbit and write a verse in French from 11 to noon. Both events will be held at Ir-Rokna tal-Ktieb, Malta Book Festival, MFCC, Ta' Qali

On Saturday 9 November at 2pm, Sophie and Chloe will also be signing their new children's book Lapinoudoudou et les tissus magiques that they have written and drawn together. More information about the illustrator and author.
Sophie Guinzbourg's illustrations will also be exhibited as part of the Malta Book Council and Arts Council exhibition "From Illustration to Book".
