The Nationalist reiterates that it is shameful how the Labour Party and the GWU are attempting to place the blame for PBS management's illegal action on PBS employees.
Only Minister Owen Bonnici, the PBS Chairman, and the PBS Editor are responsible for the absolute capture of PBS as a machine for Government and Labour Party propaganda, as well as for the illegality when they break the law and defy the Court order, the PN said in a statement.
The PN appealed to the well-intentioned workers at PBS not to fall victim to deceitful and manipulative campaigns by the Government and the Labour Party aimed at intimidating them.
The PN was referring to comments made by Bonnici that with the court action filed this week, the PN wants to send workers at the Public Broadcasting Services to jail.
The PN filed a warrant of prohibitory injunction seeking the halt of Budget adverts being aired on PBS, which was provisionally upheld on Monday, and on Thursday the party accused PBS of defying the court order and took legal action in order to inform the courts of this.
The General Workers Union also spoke up on the subject, saying it condemned any action that went against PBS workers.
