Two motorcyclists were injured on Wednesday morning in separate traffic accidents, the police said.

In the first accident, a 21-year-old man of Fgura, who was riding a Suzuki, was involed in a crash with a Totyota Vitz driven by a 21-year-old woman of Qormi.

The accident happened at 7.45am in Anton Cassar Street, Marsa.

In the second accident, an Italian 30-year-old man who resides in Ghaxaq lost control of the Yamaha he was riding and crashed.

The accident happened at 8am in Tal-Barrani Road, Zejtun.

The two bikers were taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
