Nurses will still be providing services at health centres when directives from the Medical Association of Malta take effect on Friday, the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses stated on Thursday.

Contacted by this newsroom, MUMN President Paul Pace confirmed that nurses would still be providing their services in health centres on the two days that doctors will not be due to MAM directives

Earlier on Thursday, the MAM council unanimously approved directives to doctors working in primary health care on Friday 24th January and Tuesday 28th January, where only Paola, Mosta, and Floriana will open for 24 hours from 8am to 8am the next day.
