At around 4.30pm on Tuesday, the Police were informed that assistance was needed at a warehouse in Xatt il-Mollijiet, Marsa.

The Police went to the scene, and preliminary investigations revealed that a 38-year-old man, residing in Ħaż-Żabbar, had suffered injuries while working with a grinder.

The victim was given assistance by a medical team and taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Later, he was certified as having sustained grievous injuries.

The Police are continuing their investigations into the case.
