The 2025 Valentine's programme in Gozo which includes a range of activities spread between 1st and 16th February has been launched, the Ministry for Gozo stated.
The title of this year's Gozo Valentine's program is 'Inhobbok' (I love you). The ministry stated that the Directorate for Cultural Heritage is going through the preparations so that for another year, a unique experience is offered to all those who wish to celebrate Valentine's on the island of Gozo.
Minister Clint Camilleri said that the cultural and vibrant calendar in Gozo will start to come to life again with these celebrations. The ministry added that this significant event in the country has established itself as one of the main attractions that pave the way for a year of unforgettable cultural experiences on the island of Gozo. Camilleri commented that the aim of this program is to create a unique atmosphere where Gozo is a centre of culture and hospitality. He remarked that this program is another annual occasion for Gozo to continue to stand out in an innovative way.
"Our commitment to make Gozo the best Mediterranean destination is evident not only in the creativity of the events we put on, but also in our dedication to nurturing a strong cultural scene. This investment is crucial for our aspirations to see Gozo recognized as the European Capital of Culture for 2031, a goal that reflects the unique identity and dynamic heritage of our island," Camilleri remarked.
The ministry stated that this year's Valentine's program in Gozo will include both traditions and new attractions designed to delight everyone who visits the island. It continued that Valentine's Day in Gozo will reach its climax through a concert in the heart of Victoria in Pjazza Indipendenza.
Camilleri concluded by inviting everyone to visit Gozo for these celebrations that he commented will kick off another important year for Gozo's cultural and artistic journey.
