On Wednesday, two votes will be taken in Parliament on two different Motions; one put forward by the Government and the other by the Opposition.
On the eve of these votes, PN Leader Bernard Grech said that the Government's Motion aims to strip citizens of their right to request an investigation through a Magisterial Inquiry. "This legal amendment is intended solely to safeguard the Government while silencing the people."
"In contrast, the PN's Motion is for your benefit. It aims to equip you with the necessary tools so that together, we can fight against the rising cost of living."
"The Government's Motion offers a solution for the Government and for those around it who have something to hide. On the other hand, the PN's Motion presents solutions for you, so that you can live a better life."
The PN said that it is the only party in Parliament that stands "to represent you and to fight for your rights against a Government that fails you every day."
