The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra presents its Foundation Day Concert on Saturday 5 April at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta.

Led by Michael Laus, the MYO teams up with the MPO for this annual appointment which this year includes music by John Williams and the ever-popular The Planets by Gustav Holst. The audience is taken on a celestial journey through seven movements, each vividly depicting a different planet. This suite is celebrated for its imaginative orchestration, pioneering use of rhythms and harmonies, and its ability to evoke a wide range of emotions and atmospheres.
