The first event of the Malta Sustainability Forum (MSF) 2025 tackled Malta's Climate Challenge, bringing together leading experts to discuss the critical threats posed by climate change. The session focused on rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and water scarcity, while exploring strategies for resilience and adaptation.

During the event, speakers highlighted the key climate challenges Malta is experiencing including rising temperatures, increased water scarcity, and vulnerability to coastal erosion due to sea level rise. Extreme weather events are also expected to become more frequent and intense, affecting infrastructure, agriculture, and everyday life.
