A biker was critically hurt on Friday afternoon following a collision with a car, the police said.
The accident happened in Mgarr Road, Mgarr, at 3.30pm.
The biker, a 63-year-old man of Gharb, was riding a Honda which was involved in a crash with a Toyota Starlet driven by a 54-year-old man of Mosta.
The biker was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
