MTV on Wednesday announced that Isle of MTV Malta will return to the island’s iconic il-Fosos Square on Tuesday, 15th July.
This year’s event will feature headlining performances from ALOK and Damiano David. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and stunning location, Europe’s free summer festival is held in partnership with the Malta Tourism Authority.
Headed to Isle of MTV Malta with two Latin GRAMMY nominations and over 5 billion streams to his name, dance music superstar ALOK has become a global sensation, and is the most listened-to Brazilian artist internationally. His hit single "Hear Me Now" has garnered over 755 million streams, and he has collaborated with major artists like Dua Lipa, John Legend, and Ed Sheeran. Named the No. 1 DJ in Latin America and 4th best DJ in the world by DJ Mag in 2023 and 2024, ALOK continues to dominate the global music scene.
Internationally acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter and Måneskin frontman Damiano David is headed to Isle of MTV Malta fresh off the launch of his debut solo album, FUNNY little FEARS, which features hit singles "Born With A Broken Heart", "Next Summer", “Voices” and “Zombie Lady”. Isle of MTV marks a major stop amongst Damiano’s worldwide festival performances this summer, which he will follow with a massive global tour across North America, Europe, Australia, South America, and Asia, encompassing 34 dates across five continents.

Over its 16 editions, Isle of MTV Malta has brought tens of thousands of music fans to the square every year to enjoy show-stopping performances from the world’s biggest stars, including Lady Gaga, RAYE, OneRepublic, Snoop Dogg, David Guetta and Alesso.
The event will broadcast on MTV internationally on 13th September, 2025 in more than 150 countries, and will livestream on @MTV social channels, plus Pluto TV on 15th July. Additionally, the show will be available on-demand on Paramount+ at a later date.
The festival is part of Isle of MTV Malta Music Week, a series of club nights and parties across the hottest venues on the island from 15th-20th July.
