Claudette Abela Baldacchino has been appointed Chairperson of the Labour Party's Candidate Section, while Anthony Agius Decelis has been appointed Secretary of the same section, the PL said.

"These appointments are in accordance with the statutory provisions of the Labour Party."

Claudette Abela Baldacchino said she looks forward to continue working and strengthening the Candidate Section, but also for the Labour Party to have the best candidature that reflects the realities and needs of the people.

Anthony Agius Decelis said that the Labour Party will continue to commit itself to have a list of candidates for the next general election who will continue to implement the party's progressive and social vision in the near future.
