At the 72nd Annual General Meeting of the  the European Federation of Dental Technologists and Dental Laboratory Owners  (FEPPD),  held in Ljubljana, Pierre Zammit was elected President for a three-year term.

Zammit, who has served as Secretary General of the Federation for the past ten years, earned the confidence of the General Assembly through his exceptional leadership and political work over recent years, making him the ideal candidate to lead FEPPD. into the future.

In a brief statement following his election,  Zammit expressed his gratitude to the Assembly for their trust and pledged to work tirelessly for the advancement of the European dental technologists' community.

On a national level, Zammit has served for many years as Secretary of the Malta Dental Technologists Association (MDTA), after which he was appointed as a delegate to FEPPD. His new appointment further highlights MDTA's active and valued contribution at the European level.
