The Malta Independent journalist Kyle Patrick Camilleri won the Sports Journalism Award on Saturday night, as the list of winners for the 2025 Malta Journalism Awards were announced.
The award was awarded for Patrick Camilleri's article 'Are Maltese youth sports models flawed?', published on 1 June 2025.
Other members from the Malta Independent team - Albert Galea, Semira Abbas Shalan and Domenic Aquilina placed second and third in other categories.
