Audiences are invited to relive the glittering era of pop/rock and disco as the Gozo Youth Orchestra presents The Golden Age of ABBA & Boney M. in a vibrant concert celebrating two of the most iconic acts in music history. The concert will take place on Saturday, 7 March 2026, at 8pm in the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta.

This large-scale production is being presented by the Gozo Youth Orchestra under the direction of Mro Joseph Grech in collaboration with 7SPP and Festivals Malta. It brings together orchestral power, live bands, and outstanding vocal talent for an unforgettable night of timeless hits.

The concert will feature performances by Cash & Band, led by John Cash Cassar, and BM Band, led by Marc Galea, alongside a stellar line-up of leading Maltese singers. Vocal performances will be delivered by Dorothy Bezzina, Ludwig Galea, Francesco Nicodeme, Klinsmann Coleiro, Amelia Kalabic, and Sarah Bonnici. Adding further excitement to the evening, the concert will also feature special guest singers Sean Kamati, Dorothy Borg Bonnici, Cassie Gold, Jessica Magro, and Natassja Chapman.

Audiences can expect powerful orchestral arrangements, authentic disco/pop/rock rhythms, and the unmistakable melodies that defined a generation, including beloved classics from ABBA and Boney M, all brought to life in a contemporary concert experience.
