A 67-year-old man from Valletta sustained grievous injuries yesterday afternoon following a traffic collision in Paola.
Police said they were informed of the incident on Triq Ħal Luqa at around 4pm.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the collision involved a Romet Motors Vanilla 110 motorcycle, driven by the Valletta resident, and a Honda Civic, driven by a 37-year-old man from Tarxien.
A medical team assisted the motorcyclist on-site before transporting him to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was later certified as having sustained grievous injuries.
Police investigations into the accident are still ongoing.
