Adrien Rabiot scored and provided an assist as AC Milan began their Serie A campaign with a 2-1 away victory over Torino on Sunday, while Juventus defeated newly promoted Frosinone 1-0.

Rabiot entered the match in the 56th minute and helped the Rossoneri score twice in the space of two minutes before Che Adams pulled one back for Torino in stoppage time.

The French midfielder made an immediate impact by creating the opening goal in the 64th minute.

Yunus Musah carried the ball into Torino's half before finding Rabiot near the right corner of the penalty area. The midfielder shifted the ball onto his left foot and delivered a cross toward the back post, where Alphadjo Cisse guided a precise half-volley past goalkeeper Diego Mascardi.

Rabiot then doubled Milan's advantage three minutes later.

Luka Modric moved the ball across the edge of the area to Samuel Chukwueze, who delivered a cross toward the far post. Rabiot met it with a close-range volley to make it 2-0.

Torino reduced the deficit in the third minute of stoppage time through Adams.

Gvidas Gineitis delivered a free kick from the left, and Adams produced an acrobatic volley that curled away from Mike Maignan and into the top corner.

Milan held on to claim all three points, with Rabiot emerging as the standout performer after contributing directly to both goals.

Bremer earns Juventus narrow victory

Juventus also began their campaign with three points after Gleison Bremer's first-half header secured a 1-0 victory over Frosinone at Stadio Benito Stirpe.

The visitors should have taken the lead in the 20th minute when Bremer flicked the ball into the path of summer signing Randal Kolo Muani, but the French forward fired over from close range.

Bremer broke the deadlock two minutes later.

Francisco Conceicao delivered an inswinging cross into the area, and the Brazilian defender made a run toward the center before powering a header past goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani.

Juventus continued to create opportunities, with Pierre Kalulu striking the post before Palmisani saved Kenan Yildiz's effort from the rebound.

Kolo Muani came close to doubling the advantage with around 10 minutes remaining but was unable to reach a driven cross into the area.

Frosinone pushed for an equalizer in the closing stages, but Juventus protected their narrow lead to secure an opening-day victory.
