Early last week, team members from The Xara Collection flew to London to host a select gathering of luxury Travel Agents and leading UK Journalists for an intimate lunch and dinner featuring a specially designed menu.
These intimate events took place at the Food and Drink Studio, housed within the historic Fortnum and Mason. The venue was thoughtfully selected as it complements the values and ethos of The Xara Palace Relais and Châteaux and The Xara Collection.

Invitees were given a taste of Maltese Cuisine, a glimpse into the beauty of the Maltese Islands and an authentic experience of Maltese Hospitality. Throughout the event, The Xara Palace team shared the story of The Xara Collection, highlighting the recent addition of Palazzino Belvedere and the Collection's vision for the future of luxury hospitality in Malta, with exciting new projects in the pipeline, including luxury accommodation and heritage preservation. The Xara Collection continues to contribute to Mdina's evolution as a destination for art, history, culture, and exceptional Maltese hospitality.

In addition, it was an opportunity to celebrate Michelin-starred Executive Chef Clint Grech's 25 years with the Xara family. The menu presented consisted of Chef's favourite and signature dishes, showcasing the finest seasonal Maltese ingredients, celebrating the island's rich culinary heritage.

Thomas Agius Ferrante, CEO of The Xara Collection commented 'It was a real pleasure hosting such influential and interesting people from the world of luxury travel, sharing our stories, and showcasing our beautiful Maltese Islands, particularly the charm of Mdina, in a unique setting. The experience was further enhanced by the exceptional dishes prepared by Executive Chef Clint and Head Chef Gabriel Caruana, together with the outstanding service provided by de Mondion Restaurant Manager Stevie Sammut and the support from Fortnum and Mason's team. As a collection we are determined to continue to showcase the best of Malta.'
