A four-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon resulted in a German woman being taken to hospital, police said.

The accident occurred at 1:15pm, at Qormi Road in Luqa between four different cars.

Police informed this newsroom that four people were involved, and that only one of them required medical treatment at Mater Dei Hospital.

The traffic accident was between a Peugeot 107, driven by a 66-year-old male from Luqa, a Toyota Corolla driven by a 67-year-old man from Żebbuġ, a Honda Fit driven by a 38-year-old German woman from Siġġiewi, and a 48-year-old Żabbar resident driving a Dacia.

Police said that the German woman's medical condition is currently unknown.
