latest comment from Joey Falzon, 12/06/2025 10:25: Strangely enough, this is the same architect involved in the Sofia tragedy, and also the one behind the Joseph Portelli project currently underway on the site of the former GO exchange in Psaila Street—where stone slabs from demolition works ended up in the middle of a busy road. That makes it three alarming incidents linked to the same individual. One really has to ask: what is going on here—both with the architect responsible and with the authorities supposedly overseeing these projects? It seems no lessons have been learnt—neither by her, nor by the regulators. And once again, this is a Joseph Portelli development being fronted by third parties. Joseph Portelli first ruined Gozo—now it seems it’s Malta’s turn.
