The three parties were also allocated a total of 10 minutes each airtime for party production spots. All party productions and political spots are transmitted under the auspices of the Broadcasting Authority.

Party productions and political spots may be transmitted on any day of the week including Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and national holidays. They will start on Monday.

Requests for airtime are to be made to the BA in writing (facsimile copies are accepted). Party productions will be in the form of one programme per political party which may vary in duration between five to 10 minutes.

Such programmes can be placed at the parties’ discretion on any one day. No political party may request the BA to slot a party production and political spots on the same day.

Political spots may vary in duration between a minimum of 20 seconds and a maximum of 60 but will be rounded off in multiples of five seconds.
