While in Austria, Corkskrew and Band:Union will be promoting the tour with interviews on a number of Austrian television and radio stations.

They have already played on 7 April at Luftbad, Vienna with Blended and ZUE and on 8 April at Culture X Club, Tulln with Schattenparker and Seltsam.

Last Saturday, they played at JazzIT, Salzburg with acts Rush-hour and the Flying Hellfish.

Corkskrew will be returning to Vienna for the following four performances:

• Today at Luftbad, Vienna with act Kaleidoskop

• Tomorrow at Shelter, Vienna with acts Brandysh and Blended

• 15 April at Unplugged, Vienna with act Sergej Pepper

• 17 April at Sargfabrik, Vienna (Best of Band:Union Presentation) with acts Bramp, Karli and Yellow Page.

Corkskrew’s tour in Austria is supported by the Malta Tourism Authority, Air Malta and C Camilleri & Sons.

In the last few weeks, Corkskrew have been busy recording new tracks, some of which will be performed in their gigs in Austria and Malta. The new tracks will be included in Corkskrew’s second CD album, tentatively planned for release in the autumn of this year.

Corkskrew will be performing live in Malta at The Alley, Paceville on Wednesday 21 April as part of the Cisk Export Yellow Rock Tour.
