The purpose of the visit was to exchange news, monitor the progress of the Comenius project Living Yesterday and Today and plan their work for the coming months, during which they aim to work on transport and communication.
The Maltese teachers were given a warm welcome and were shown around the classrooms, giving them an opportunity to compare German teaching methods with those in Malta. During their visit, Ms Agius and Ms Sammut also discussed the progress of this European Union-funded project with French and Spanish participants.
The visit not only served its purpose of monitoring the progress of the Comenius project but also gave the two teachers an insight into the teaching practices of other EU countries.
