KSU’S Former president elected to ESIB

Dr Fenech has been representing students for over five years while studying for his Doctorate of Laws at the University of Malta.

He has been a member of three KSU executives, starting out as Culture and Entertainment commissioner in 2001, the KSU’s first PRO in 2002 and finally president for the period 2003-4. Dr Fenech is also a founding member of Insite, the student representative on the University Council and finance manager of the National Youth Council (KNZ).

ESIB is the umbrella organisation of 44 national unions of students from 33 countries and, through its members, represents over 10 million students. The aim of ESIB is to represent and promote the educational, social, economic and cultural interests of students at European level towards all relevant bodies and in particular the European Union, the Council of Europe and Unesco.

ESIB’s newly elected chairperson is Ms Vanja Ivosevic from Croatia.
