The nerazzurri aim to strengthen their defence next month by signing Italian international Daniele Bonera.

The Parma defender is considered to be a main target for coach Roberto Mancini as he tries to strengthen the defence which has let in 24 goals in 15 matches so far.

The central defender can also play as a right-back and could be released by Parma mid-season to stave off their financial problems.
