HSBC Bank Malta, for the fifth consecutive year, is one of the main contributors to this year’s Christmas decorations of Republic Street in Valletta.

HSBC’s Valletta Area Manager, Alex Mizzi, presented the Lm1000 contribution to the president of the Republic Street Business Community Association (RSBCA), Victor Fenech Azzopardi.

“HSBC has always been one of the main contributors to Republic Street Christmas decorations and we are again delighted to be playing our part in bringing the Christmas spirit to Malta’s busiest street,” said Mr Mizzi. “All the crowds who walk through Republic Street on a daily basis during this Christmas season will surely appreciate the decorations and lighting which significantly enhance the atmosphere,” continued Mr Mizzi.

Mr Fenech Azzopardi thanked HSBC for their contribution, which once again helped the RSBCA in meeting the considerable costs incurred to decorate Republic Street. This year’s decorations were organised by the Committee of the Republic Street Business Community Association together with the Valletta Rehabilitation Committee and the Malta National

Festivities Committee.
