Emirates, the Dubai based international airline, is offering Maltese passengers a 50 per cent reduction on Companion tickets in first and business class. This offer is timed to coincide with the introduction of chauffeur-driven services to Malta.
Passengers flying first or business class, apart from enjoying free airport transfers in a chauffeur-driven luxury car, can now also benefit from a Companion Fare offer. This special offer is valid for travel commencing up to 31 March, provided that the two passengers travel together – departing from and returning to Malta together.
With Malta’s cold days ahead, a break away from the island is a perfect refresher for Maltese leisure and business travellers. Emirates is offering special reduced Companion Fares on many selected destinations in the Middle East, Australia and the Far East. These include Dubai, Bahrain, Doha, Bombay, Chennai, Delhi, Mauritius, Maldives, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Manila and Bangkok.
Emirates operates three direct weekly flights from Dubai to Malta on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays on the wide-bodied aircraft A330-200. Flights from Malta to Dubai fly via Tripoli. The Malta route gives a convenient connection to outgoing and incoming passengers from Australia and the Far East.
Emirates district manager Paul Fleri Soler said: “We are unveiling this irresistible winter offer for our Maltese clients to take the opportunity and visit Dubai, the leisure hub of the Middle East. Our customers can also extend their break to one of Emirates exotic destinations.
“We are also confident that our premium clients will get their holi-day or business trip off to an impressive start with the newly launched chauffeur-driven service in Malta. The whole experience of flying Emirates is designed to ensure that our customers arrive at their destination relaxed, having had a comfortable and enjoyable flight.”
Emirates superior in-flight service begins with a warm welcome from the highly trained, international cabin crew and extends through superb on-board cuisine, the latest in-flight entertainment system and some of the most comfortable seats in the air.
First or business class travellers on Emirates’ A330-200 aircraft can relax with the state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system. Every seat has a personal video system offering 15 video and 22 audio channels featuring the latest films, comedy, sports, current affairs, lifestyle and children’s programmes and a large selection of interactive games. And if one needs to keep in touch with family or friends, the seats have a personal satellite telephone.
All Emirates flights from Malta travel via Dubai International Airport, one of the most advanced and welcoming airports in the world. First and Business Class travellers can make full use of the luxurious Emirates lounges, while, for a nominal fee, Economy travellers can use the new extended Marhaba Lounge, where facilities include showers, refreshments and internet access.
Furthermore, members of Skywards, Emirates’ innovative frequent flyer programme, can earn more Skywards miles or redeem earned miles for complimentary flights, upgrades and special offers from the airline, car and hotel group partners.
