The following was engendered by the curious juxtaposition of the international commemoration of the Holocaust victims on Thursday 27January, and the recent public assembly in Safi, of a blatantly racist political party.

Vicious Cycle

Trawl maul haul vaulted! Where the tall sprawling walls all scream seal converged to within a thin inch; just.

Skull and bone unto marrowed core, crush ground compound pounded down, to particle dust.

Brain entrails, heart liver, nerve sinew, pulped to a mass of stale stench slush mush disgust.

Blood dull thudding the flooding floor, till neat vacuum congealed, to rancid damp mould; in fissures sown.

Yet still sickly ekes it out it does, reek leaking with an eerie, grim will all its own.

Seep weep oozing through the gory pores, caustic encrust corrode the stone. Relentless breathe seethe seeking out, to have it out, it will!

Black angered anguish, chill distilled; cold honed to kill.

That hybrid, latent alien within us all, wreaking ill; the victimized persecutor perpetuating the vicious cycle; still.
