I refer to the white paper containing proposals for a better administration ofjustice.

I believe that changes in many of the issues under discussion are needed and will greatly improve our justice system. However, I certainly do not agree with the removal of imprisonment of journalists found guilty in serious legal proceedings in libel cases.

Every sector of the working society should be liable to imprisonment when they do not abide by the rule. So why exclude journalists? We should all be responsible for our actions.

Removing jail terms for media personnel who are found guilty of serious libel will only make it easier for irresponsible media reporters to take advantage of this law.
